Contribution The Liddel, Terrazzo Tilework

Global Inspiration, American Made

Wausau Tile has come a long way since its beginnings in Edward Creske’s garage in Mosinee, Wisconsin. Over the past six decades, Wausau has been a leader in innovative, sustainable tile manufacturing. Thanks to sales professional Ginger Wells, their work — made entirely in the American Midwest — can be found everywhere from the Guggenheim to Times Square.

Not only did Wausau provide all the terrazzo tile for The Liddel, they were also the first company to manufacture it in the United States. Known for its Venetian mosaic style, the terrazzo look lends an uncommon element of global design to the clean and casual modernism of the project.
